When Jesus met with the
Samaritan woman at the well (John 4:1-42), He told her to ask Him and He would
show her the way to “living water.” Let
us ask Him to teach us to what sources we must go in order to find the abundance
of these waters.
Ask yourself: Where do I find an abundance of living water? Where do I feel closest to
God, to Jesus? In what settings do I hear the voice of the Holy Spirit most
clearly? It may be when reading or studying the Bible; at Mass or Church
service; while listening to Christian music or hymns; in the Sacraments; in
nature; after receiving the Eucharist; at Adoration; in personal prayer time.
God chooses to reveal Himself to each of us in the ways most suited to our
personalities.
Wherever it is for you, focus your time there.
